Nikola Tesla Free Energy

Today, 10 July is the birthday of Nikola Tesla an important inventor and scientist. Happy Birthday!

He was born an ethnic Serb in 1856 in the village of Smiljan, Vojna Krajina and later became an American citizen. He died on 7 January 1943 at the age of 86 in New York City. He is best known for his work in the field of electricity and magnetism but he also worked to a lesser extent in robotics, remote control, radar and computer science and in the area of physics.

He worked with Thomas Edison in New York but their opinions differed over direct current versus alternating current with Tesla ultimately winning out. Today Tesla’s AC induction motor is commonly used throughout the world in household appliances and also in industry. Some of his other inventions are fluorescent light, laser beams and wireless transmission of electrical energy and in all he registered over 700 patents.

On a more personal note he may have suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder for which there was no treatment in those days. He did things in threes and often walked round the block three times before entering the building. He became obsessed with pigeons and used to keep some in his hotel room.

Due to poor business decisions and selling his patents he died in the hotel room where he had lived for 10 years alone, destitute and with many debts.
